Brent E. Baxter

Profile

Prior to joining Manning, Murray, Barnett & Baxter PC in 2008, Brent served as Chief Counsel and Deputy Clerk of Court for the Clerk of the Arlington County Circuit Court. Brent was in private law practice in Northern Virginia from 2001 – 2006, and, before entering private practice, he worked for many years in court administration for the Circuit Court of Arlington County, Virginia.

His professional and community activities have included serving as an adjunct professor of Legal Writing at George Mason University School of Law, and serving as a member of the board of directors and past president of the Arlington Host Lions Club. Brent is an active member and past president (2010-2011) of the Arlington County Bar Association, and director and officer of the Arlington County Bar Foundation. Brent is a member of the Virginia State Bar.

A native of Arlington, Brent continues to live here with his wife and three children.
